One of the most beautiful Gdansk++ daughters in the world, and out of a direct Czort daughter.
Our dear "Alcyone I" went to be with the Lord after nearly 25 wonderful years.
She produced several wonderful foals, including a beautiful filly sired by BONNE VIVANT,
named: "ASA All That Jazz", who sold to a lovely lady in California.
Alcyone I went peacefully to sleep after her morning grain, went outside to graze, was lying down to nap, and didn't get up.
We miss her terribly, both as a friend and as a broodmare... she was probably one of the only direct Gdansk++ daughters left who was pure Polish, and directly out of a Czort and Algonkina daughter...just LOOK at THAT pedigree!
It's just not the same without having the three grey mares blasting up the hill to graze after breakfast. Alcy could almost still keep up with the "younger" mares (16 and 17 year olds!)...
